Phillip measures the rough opening and the swing. ProVia builds the door as a complete pre-hung unit with the frame, threshold, and weatherstripping. Our crew sets it, shims it plumb, seals it, and hangs the hardware. Most doors install within about 10 days of a signed contract.

Fiberglass or steel entry door?

Fiberglass (Signet, Ascent) will not dent and can carry a real woodgrain finish. Steel (Legacy) is the strongest and most rigid option and can be repaired if dented. Both are foam-filled and factory-finished. Most styles in both are ENERGY STAR certified.

Do you replace the frame or just the door?

Usually the whole pre-hung unit: door, frame, threshold, and weatherstripping. That is how the seal and the warranty hold. A slab-only swap is possible on a sound frame, and Phillip will tell you which one you need.

Can I get a storm door with my entry door?

Yes. ProVia storm doors are built to match its entry doors, and installing both at once is the cleanest fit.

How long does a door take?

About 10 days from signed contract to install for most doors, depending on ProVia's build time. On site, an entry door is usually a half day.

What warranty comes with a ProVia door?

A lifetime limited warranty on the door itself that transfers once to the next owner, with separate terms for glass, frames, and hardware. We walk you through the registration.
